Grandma's Boy

So, I figured Grandma (my Momma) might need something to cheer her up since she hasn't been feeling well for quite some time now. I let the dogs out in the backyard today to play in the snow. About 10 minutes later Jolie and Jacoby wanted to come in and snuggle up, but Apollo still wanted to play in the snow. His favorite thing is actually to dip his nose in the snow and come up with a huge pile of snow on the tip of his nose. So, a good half hour goes by and I went to check on him. The first two pics below are what I found...Apollo, happy as can be, lying in the snow on the top of the wall. He is officially named Grandma's Boy because he will stay out in the snow for hours if we let him. The last two pics are a couple of black & white shots that I got of Apollo and Jacoby. For all inquiring minds, Jolie was upstairs guarding her bone and wasn't around for my nightly picture time.

Mom...Cindy, the dogs and I love you and we hope you feel better real soon!!!

Happy Birthday Cindy!!!

Happy Birthday to the greatest girlfriend anyone could ever ask for! Cindy's birthday was on Wednesday the 14th, but we started partying on Saturday night. Saturday night I took her out to Texas Roadhouse with Stacee and Lindsey. The first four pictures are from our adventure there. First pic is of Stacee and Cindy, next pic is of Lindsey and I, third pic is of Stacee and Cindy in deep, drunken conversation. Last pic is of Cindy riding the Texas Roadhouse birthday saddle! We had a great time Saturday night and a big thanks goes to Lindsey and Stacee for making it a night full of fun and laughter!

Sunday night, I took Cindy, Shelley and Dana out to the Abington Ale House. We are extremely grateful to have neighbors like Shelley and Dana that we know we can always count on. That morning we got about 6 inches of snow. Dana came over and snowblowed our walkway and driveway. We have a snowblower but since our backyard is set down from the street, we have to carry that sucker up stairs in order to use it. So, Dana is our neighbor superhero and takes care of us :) Dana basically has three wives...poor guy. Anyway, the bottom four pictures are from the night with Shelley and Dana. First pic is Cindy demonstrating what happens when you eat tabasco sauce, next pic is just the birthday girl enjoying her margarita, third pic is of Cindy and I, and the last pic is of our fabulous neighbors and friends, Shelley and Dana.

Finally, on Tuesday I decided to surprise Cindy with a nice, romantic lasagna dinner at home. I had to work Wednesday so I knew there was really nothing we could do on Wednesday. Thats why all the partying was done before her actual birthday. So, the last three pictures are of my masterpiece lasagna (minus two pieces), the dinner set-up, and Cindy passed out on the couch with a full belly.
Happy Birthday babe!
