Still a bunch of IDIOTS! (even without Johnny Damon and Kevin Millar)

The one thing that I have always loved about the Red Sox is the personality of the whole team. From the time when the team tied Pedro Martinez to a pole, to Manny Ramirez hiding in the Green Monster, the Red Sox always know how to make us laugh. On Friday night, after the Red Sox won the American League East, the Sox closer, Jonathan Papelbon, showed up on the field in his tight black undies to do his version of the Riverdance. He got Youkilis, Lopez, and a few others to join in on the dancing action. This is a fearless team, who is not afraid to do anything! This is the team that is going to win the World Series! Something tells me that my Mom probably wants to take Jonathan Papelbon after seeing him in those hot, tight undies!

AL EAST CHAMPIONS BABY!!!

Yeah, that's right...our BOSTON RED SOX are the AL EAST CHAMPIONS!!! We can now relax until game one of the playoffs, when the nail biting starts all over again. A special thanks to the Baltimore Orioles for hanging in there and defeating the dreadful Evil Empire in a come-from-behind win. Thank you Mora for bunting in the winning run when Kevin "Cowboy Up" Millar failed to drive in the winning run.

David Ortiz is starting to hit homeruns again, Manny finally decided to play, and Dice K has finally started pitching like we pay him to pitch. To Dustin Pedroia, Josh Beckett, Jonathan Papelbon, Mike Lowell and Hideki Okajima...thank you for playing the way you have all year and let's keep it going!! To the newcomers Jacoby Ellsbury, Clay Bucholz, and Brandon Moss...thank you for playing your hearts out and allowing the Fenway Faithful to fall in love with you young'uns! Let's go Sox! Make us proud in the playoffs!!!

Halloween decorations

I hung lights in the windows and put lights on the tree out front. There are purple lights on the tree above the orange lights, but they didn't come out in the pictures. I also hung a ghost and a spider in the tree on our lawn. Let me know what you guys think.

Updated dining room pictures

Cindy finished painting the dining room closet and her parents came over Sunday afternoon and hung the curtain rods and curtains. We still have to get new blinds, paint the hutch and put a new light fixture over the table. But, it is coming along quite nicely.

The pool is closed :(

The Pool Company came yesterday, put the new pool cover and closed the pool for the Winter. It absolutely sucked because it was 90 degrees today, I was off and it would have been sooooo nice to be able to jump into the pool :(
Here are some pics...

Getting all into the Sox/Yanks Rivalry!!!

This afternoon I was watching the Sox/Yanks game all by myself. I was off from work and Cindy was working until 5. Due to the heartache from last night's game I refused to watch it today until the Sox were winning 2-1. When I turned the game on the Sox scored 3 runs and were winning 5 to 1. I got all excited and insisted that the dogs give me paw (felt like a high five). Then I decided that giving paw wasn't good enough. I felt the need to dress the doggies up in Red Sox gear. So, here are my two babies sportin' their Sox gear...and might I add that they were very good sports. They wore the shirts for over an hour! I love my babies!!! And...it helped the Sox win 10 to 1. So, it might have to become a tradition that I dress their doggy booties up every time the Sox play the Yanks!

Yankees suck! Yankees suck!!!

The hated Yankees are in town for a 3 game series against the Red Sox. The Sox are currently 5 and a half games ahead of the Yanks in the American League East. Here's to hoping that the Red Sox sweep their nasty New York asses right out of Boston!!!
