Ice Age in Brockton

Ok, so how many of you have seen the movie Ice Age? Remember Scrat? More importantly, remember how Scrat was always after that freakin nut? Well, I had my own "Scrat" experience earlier this week. We had an ice storm on Sunday night and our whole backyard was a sheet of ice. A stick got frozen underneath the ice and Apollo was determined to get that freakin' stick! Here are pictures of Apollo scratching and digging at the ice. It reminded me of the scene where Scrat was scratching at the ice because the nut was frozen underneath. And for the record...Apollo never got the stick.

Jacoby Vaicius-Curran

I picked up our baby girl yesterday afternoon. She is THE most friendly dog I have ever met in my entire life. As soon as the shelter workers let her out of the backroom she came running up to me and started tugging on the leg of my jeans. She is 4 months, 22.4lbs, and she is a lab/tree hound mix.

Yesterday was a rough day as she struggled to get along with Jolie and Apollo. However, today was MUCH better and they were all playing together and taking naps together ( as you can see in the pictures below). She fits right in with the rest of our family. Welcome home Jacoby!!!
